Preparing for vasectomy is quick and simple.

Ring our clinic to confirm your attendance 48 hours before the procedure.

You will received a pre and post vasectomy instruction upon your booking.

As you are having a local anaesthetic, you can maintain your normal diet on the day of your procedure.

If you are taking any blood thinning medication or have a bleeding disorder please let the staff at the booking.

Two days before the procedure, shave or trim the underside of the penis and all of the front and sides of the scrotum to give clear access to the site.

Firm fitting underwear should be worn for the procedure and for a week or two afterwards to support the scrotum.

Cease any blood thinning medication at least 7 days prior to your procedures.

The operation takes about 30 minutes and is carried out at the our clinic location you booked.

If a medical certificate is required, please let staff know before your procedure so one can be arranged.
