Adult circumcision surgically heals around 10 days. (No open wound).

You’ll probably be advised to take at least a few days off work to recover. Full healing (final outcome) can take up to 6 weeks. This will not causes any restriction to your daily activity.

You should avoid having any sexual activity until the surgical healing takes place (No open wound).

For 3 or 4 days post operation, it’s likely you will experience some discomfort and swelling around the head of your penis.
Please contact our clinic If you have a temperature, increased redness, bleeding, persistent pain or throbbing of your penis, as it could be a sign of infection.

After removal of postoperative dressing, applying petroleum jelly (Vaseline) around the tip of your penis will stop it sticking to your underwear.

Wearing light, loose-fitting clothing for 2 or 3 days after your operation will also help avoid irritation to your penis while it heals.

You shouldn’t feel any pain or discomfort while passing urine, but contact your medical team if you do.
